Why Ivory F.A.?
About the Academy:
My name is Charles and I am the founder of Ivory Football Academy. I created Ivory Football Academy to help athletes reach the next step by sharing my passion and knowledge of the game. As a coach my main focus is to develop player’s confidence, ball skills, technique (shooting/passing/control) and decision making.
My trainings are based on developing all skills and techniques required to be very effective in 1v1, 1v2, 2v1, 3v2 situations. The byproduct of this focus on skill building exercises is smarter, more confident, and more creative players on and off the field.
I focus especially on The First Touch & Second touch as well as Creativity. The first touch is one of the most important skill to have at every part of the field and at all levels of soccer as it can dictate the next play. Having a great first touch will always put players in position to retain the ball and create scoring opportunities. All of the sessions will also incorporate motor skill development, position-specific soccer knowledge, and an emphasis on the technical skills.
I look forward to growing a great relationship with soccer families and continuing to offer an exceptional training environment to all soccer players throughout the Greater Boston/Providence area

About the Logo:
The black and yellow in the logo represent my local Ivorian soccer team I grew up cheering for, Asec Mimosa (Les Jaunes noires)-whose philosophy still resonates with me “que les enfants s’amusent… en jouant au football” (May the children have fun… while playing football). The orange, green and white represent the country I grew up in, Cote d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast). The orange shade represents the Savanna grasslands, green represents the coastal forests, while white is symbolic of the country’s rivers. Lastly the elephant, aside from being the symbol of where I’m from, an elephant is considered a symbol of power, wisdom, success, loyalty and unity.
