Why Ivory F.A.?

Soccer Training Built With Detail, Confidence, and Purpose.

Ivory Futbol Academy helps players improve with clear coaching, game-realistic training, and habits that carry into matches.

The goal is not to run players through random drills. The goal is to help players understand their game, sharpen their technical habits, build confidence, and learn how to make better decisions under pressure.

What Ivory F.A. Stands For

Clear Feedback

Players need coaching they can understand, apply, and repeat.

Game Transfer

Training connects technical work to real soccer moments.

Confidence Building

Players grow when they know what they are doing well and what to improve next.

Player Ownership

The best development happens when players understand and take responsibility for their growth.

The Heart Behind Ivory F.A.

Soccer Is More Than a Game

At Ivory Futbol Academy, we believe soccer is more than a game — it’s a platform for growth, expression, and lifelong confidence.

Founded by Coach Charles Dybaud, IFA combines the creativity of Ivorian street soccer with the structure of modern player development. Charles grew up playing barefoot in Côte d'Ivoire before coming to the U.S., where he discovered the power of soccer to change his life. Now, he is committed to creating that same opportunity for youth players here in New England.

Training Philosophy

Players Need More Than Extra Drills

Extra training should help players understand the game better, not just do more reps. At Ivory Futbol Academy, every session is built around clear coaching points, useful feedback, and habits that can show up in real matches.

01

Detail First

Players learn the small details behind each action: body shape, touch direction, timing, scanning, balance, and decision-making.

02

Repetition With Purpose

Reps matter, but only when players know what they are working on. Training is designed to create better habits, not just more activity.

03

Game-Realistic Pressure

Players need to practice skills in situations that feel closer to the game: pressure, direction, decisions, timing, and competition.

04

Confidence Through Clarity

Players build confidence when they understand what they are doing, why it matters, and how to improve it.

What Makes Ivory F.A. Different

Training That Connects the Player, the Ball, and the Game

Ivory Futbol Academy is built for players who need more than extra touches. Players need coaching that connects technical habits, confidence, decision-making, and game transfer.

Players Get Corrections, Not Just Reps

Extra touches matter, but players also need to understand what to fix. Sessions include coaching detail, examples, and feedback players can actually use.

Training Is Built Around Game Moments

Players work on actions they actually face in games: receiving under pressure, playing forward, defending 1v1, finishing, scanning, reacting after mistakes, and making faster decisions.

Confidence Is Coached, Not Just Expected

Some players need help trusting themselves on the ball. Training gives players a clearer picture of what they are doing well and what they can improve next.

Development Goes Beyond the Session

The goal is to help players take ownership. That means knowing what to work on, how to reflect, and how to keep building habits between team practices, private sessions, and games.

The Meaning Behind the Logo

A Story of Culture, Legacy, and Purpose

The Ivory F.A. logo tells a story. The black and yellow pay tribute to ASEC Mimosa, Coach Charles’s childhood club in Côte d’Ivoire, and the motto that still inspires how he coaches:

“Que les enfants s’amusent… en jouant au football.”

May the children have fun… while playing football.

Each color on the logo reflects my home:

  • Orange – The savanna grasslands
  • Green – The coastal forests
  • White – The rivers of Côte d’Ivoire

At the center is the elephant — a symbol of power, wisdom, success, loyalty, and unity. It reflects the mindset Coach Charles wants to pass on to every player he trains.

Coach Charles’s Mission

Passing the Game Forward

“Soccer gave me a chance to grow — not just as a player, but as a person.”

Ivory F.A. is built to pass that forward through every session, every Individual Development Plan, and every interaction with players.

Players are encouraged to sharpen their touch, grow their confidence, make smarter decisions, and enjoy the process of becoming better.
